Justice Run Austin

About the Event

The Justice Run Austin returns to the Travis County Expo Center in Austin, Texas on November 7th, 2026. This race was established in 2021 with a mission to bring restoration to survivors of human trafficking and support The Justice Residences. Since its inception, thousands have run for justice.
On race morning at the Travis County Expo Center, runners will find a bustling atmosphere filled with volunteers, participants, and supporters. Race organizers ensure that all areas are well-lit and accessible, making it easy for everyone to navigate through the venue. The event is known for its warm welcome and community spirit, with local businesses often setting up booths offering refreshments.
Justice Run Austin has grown from a small gathering into an annual tradition, drawing participants not only from Austin but also from surrounding regions in Texas. Every year, hundreds of runners participate across various distances to raise funds and awareness for the cause. The race is more than just a run; it's a powerful statement against human trafficking.
The course venue is set at the expansive Travis County Expo Center, offering both paved roads and smooth surfaces ideal for all participants. Runners will start in one section of the expo center before making their way through its spacious grounds. Notable features include the central fountain and the green spaces that provide a scenic backdrop during the race.
The half marathon and full marathon routes will offer runners stunning views, while the 10K paths wind through the heart of the Expo Center’s exhibition halls. The event also includes aid stations for water and snacks to keep participants hydrated throughout their journey. Despite being indoors, the temperature on that November morning is expected to be around an average high of 23.4°C with a low of 12.9°C, making it feel just right. Humidity levels will hover at about 67.8%, which should make conditions comfortable for most runners.

Scenic view of

Austin is a city of about 965,000 people (2021) on the southeast edge of the Hill Country region of Texas, making it the fourth-largest city in the state and the 11th-largest in the country. It is the capital of Texas and a college town, and also a center of an alternative culture away from the major cities on the US coasts, though the city is rapidly gentrifying with its rising popularity. Austin's attitude is commonly emblazoned about town on T-shirts and bumper stickers that read: "Keep Austin Weird." Austin is also marketed as the Live Music Capital of the World due to the large number of venues.
