K-RUN Challenge

The K-RUN Challenge is set to bring runners together for an autumn marathon along the picturesque Han River on October 25, 2026. This scenic race offers three distinct distances: half marathon, 10 km, and 5 km, ensuring there's a suitable option for every level of runner.
Participants will gather at Ttukseom Hangang Citizens' Park’s waterfront plaza to start their journey early in the morning with check-in beginning at 8:00 a.m. The race itself kicks off promptly at 9:00 a.m., allowing runners to soak up the tranquil atmosphere and stunning views of the Han River as they make their way from Ttukseom Hangang Citizens' Park towards Gangdong Bridge.
Entry fees vary by distance, with half marathon participants paying KRW 60,000, those opting for the 10 km route at KRW 55,000, and runners choosing the shorter 5 km option contributing KRW 40,000. For a more challenging experience, there are also special "maniac" entry fees available without the official souvenir.
All participants will receive an array of benefits including an official souvenir, bib number, finisher medal, certificate, snacks and drinks along the course, as well as a timing chip to ensure accurate results. Team entries for groups of two or more are welcomed, with teams consisting of 20 runners receiving complimentary booth space and a banner.
The race is open to anyone in good physical condition, making it an inclusive event that welcomes both male and female competitors from all walks of life.
