Starting September 13 at Zizhu Youheng Valley Scenic Area, Qingdao, this trail race caps at 900 runners across 25K "Seeking the Mountain," 16K "Questioning the Way," and 8K "Gathering Flowers." Registration opens April 10 at 10:00, first-come first-served.
The 25K (300 runners, 25.69km actual, 2,450m+ gain, ITRA 2 points) starts 7:30 with a 9-hour cutoff; the 16K (400 runners, 17km, 1,520m+ gain, ITRA 1 point) starts 7:45 with a 5.5-hour cutoff; the 8K (200 runners, 8.53km, 700m+ gain) starts 8:00 with a 3.5-hour cutoff.
A genuinely technical course by domestic standards -- the distances are short, but the terrain is hard. Register with care.
