Pre-registration and payment run July 8 10:00 through August 20 18:00, with lottery results announced late August and full refunds for unsuccessful entrants. A Chinese Athletics Association Class A event and considered Xinjiang's benchmark race and the region's fastest course, run in cool conditions suited to a PB attempt, with an oasis-and-Gobi backdrop, food stalls, an evening party, and a pre-race training camp rounding out the weekend. Entry fees: marathon 150rmb, half marathon 120rmb.
