About the Event

Join the community of runners and walkers at Ballinora on March 14, 2027, for the Karen Fenton Memorial Run, organized by the Fenton Family with support from St Finbarr's AC. This special event commemorates Karen Fenton, who passed away in 2017 after a battle with ovarian cancer.
The memorial run features a scenic 5km road race through Ballinora’s streets and parks. Families are invited to participate together; kids can join for a fun walk or run, while more competitive young athletes have the option of being chipped and timed.
Participants are encouraged to make additional donations to support ongoing fundraising efforts aimed at improving ovarian cancer treatment, diagnosis, and patient care services. The event also welcomes team entries, providing an opportunity for friends and colleagues to come together in a spirit of camaraderie and support.
Join us on March 14, 2027, to honor Karen's legacy while contributing to a vital cause.
