On August 29, 2026, the Mill Village Trailhead near Augusta, Georgia will host the Katherine’s Way Miles of Miracles 5K Color Run/Walk. This vibrant and meaningful event begins at 8 a.m., offering participants an engaging experience that combines physical activity with a powerful cause. Participants can register on race day starting at 7 a.m., with gates opening to welcome runners and walkers from 6:30 a.m. The event features a lively rally at 7:30 a.m. before the start of the run, setting an enthusiastic tone for the morning ahead. The Katherine’s Way Miles of Miracles is dedicated to supporting women in recovery by providing scholarships that cover the costs associated with treatment programs when personal funds are not available due to family responsibilities and financial constraints. This initiative aims to facilitate reunions between mothers and their children while ensuring these individuals receive essential care and support during a critical period. The race route winds through scenic trails at Mill Village, offering runners and walkers an enjoyable journey amidst nature. The event is open to all ages, with awards presented for the fastest overall male and female participants as well as age group winners in categories ranging from 17 years old and under up to those aged 50 and above. Registration fees are $40 per person until August 5, 2026, which includes a commemorative shirt. Packet pick-up will be available at 2801 Ingleside Drive, Augusta, GA between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. from August 25 through 28.
