About the Event

Located at the heart of Kawasaki, the Uvance Todoroki Stadium by Fujitsu (Todoroki Athletics Stadium), home to the professional football team Kawasaki Frontale, hosts an annual running festival that offers runners of all ages and abilities a unique experience. The event features several race categories including a half marathon, 10km run, and shorter family-friendly distances.
The main attraction is the half marathon course which winds through scenic areas around Todoroki Athletics Stadium, offering participants a mix of flat terrain with some gentle hills that challenge runners while providing stunning views of the city. The 10km race follows a similar route but includes more urban sections for those looking to test their speed over shorter distances.
For families and younger athletes, there are options like the 3km run which is designed especially for children aged from elementary school up to high school students. This course takes runners around the stadium grounds, allowing young participants to enjoy running in a safe and supportive environment.
The event also includes a family fun running category where parents can participate together with their kids for an additional layer of enjoyment and camaraderie. Wheelchair racers are welcome at no cost, ensuring inclusivity is a key part of this community-oriented race day.
Regardless of the distance chosen, runners will appreciate the well-organized facilities and enthusiastic support from spectators lining the routes. The event offers a great opportunity to connect with other running enthusiasts while experiencing one of Kawasaki's most iconic sports venues up close.
