Kessler Mountain Regional Park hosts its annual cycling festival on July 18 and 19, offering both experienced cyclists and newcomers an unforgettable racing experience. The pre-race packet pickup and onsite registration will take place from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at the park’s entrance; there is no raceday registration available. For those eager to familiarize themselves with the course before race day, a practice ride is scheduled between 2:00 and 5:00 PM. Participants should arrive early to secure their preferred starting position. On July 19, packet pickup will commence at the same location from 6:30 AM until half an hour prior to each group’s start time. Signs and a large white tent will guide racers to the registration area. The course layout features two distinct laps: Course 1 is a thrilling 2.4 miles, while Course 2 stretches to an exhilarating 5.2 miles. USA Cycling licenses are mandatory; however, discounts and special offers are available through USAC’s website at https://usacycling.org/member. New members pay $40 annually ($20 if auto-renewing), with free race license included for first-time participants under 18 years old. For those without an annual USA Cycling license, a one-day fee of $15 is required upon registration through BikeReg. Entry fees include the convenience of socks or upgrade to a short sleeve t-shirt, ensuring racers are well-prepared and comfortable during their ride up Kessler Mountain Regional Park.
