On Sunday, October 4, 2026, the Morbihan Trail Championships will host three exciting races: the Groupama Trail at 28 kilometers starting at 9 AM; the Leclerc Trail covering 18 kilometers and beginning at 9:30 AM; and the Honda Trail with a distance of 8 kilometers kicking off at 10 AM. For children aged ten years and above, there will be kids' races commencing at 10:05 AM (parental consent required). The Groupama Trail is part of the Morbihan's trail championship series for seasoned runners who are FFA licensees or club members wearing their team kits. Participants must adhere to FFA regulations. Those born in 2006 and earlier can run the 28-kilometer course, while those from 2008 and before should compete in the 18 kilometers. Runners born in 2012 or sooner are eligible for the 8-kilometer trail with a minimum age of 16 on race day. In addition to FFA licensing, individuals can participate if they have a valid PPS (Passeport Athlétisme) document within three months from Klikego's website. Online registration closes at 20:00 on Saturday, October 3, with limited spot-in-person registrations allowing up to 50 additional dossards. Race day will see participants pick up their numbers from 14-17 PM at Leclerc Sport in Quéven or from the sports complex of Kerlebert starting at 8 AM. Entry fees are as follows: €9 for the 8-kilometer trail, €16 for the 18 kilometers, and €20 for the 28 kilometers (including Klikego transaction fees). The course offers pleasant forest paths with varied terrain suitable for all skill levels. The route is marked by volunteers ensuring a safe running experience. Ravitaillements will be available on the trail as well as at the finish line to keep runners fueled and hydrated throughout the race, but no cups are provided during the run. Wheelchair participants in Hippocampe or Joelette categories can join under specific conditions: all team members must register for the event and wear their own numbers. A release form must be filled out by a designated team member present at the course and submitted to organizers before the race starts. Safety on the trail is ensured through volunteer marshals who will guide runners according to traffic rules and directions. Organizers are not responsible for any accidents that occur during the event, but they do distribute prizes to all participants including top three finishers in each category plus random draw winners.
