Knallende Kilometer

On Saturday, November 7, the second edition of the Knallende Kilometer will take place at Lage Bergse Bos near Familierestaurant Bergsche Plas. Participants can collect their race numbers at the restaurant and start their run towards Zwijnenplaats parking area for a flat course covering exactly one kilometer.
The event kicks off at 11:00 AM, with runners starting every half minute to ensure smooth pacing on the cycling path. This solo endeavor challenges participants to achieve their fastest possible kilometer without competition or medals awarded. However, all finishers are rewarded with either a pancake or a bowl of snert after crossing the finish line at Familierestaurant Bergsche Plas.
