Kokopelli XC Invitational

The 2026 Kokopelli Invite offers runners of all ages an exhilarating cross-country experience set against the scenic backdrop of North Monument Valley Park. Scheduled for Saturday, October 17th, this race promises to challenge and inspire participants with its fast-paced course.
Registration opens on Race Roster well in advance, giving competitors ample time to secure their spots before the deadline of Thursday, October 15th at 10:00 PM. Youth runners can enter for just $25 per entry, excluding service charges (no refunds will be issued).
The race day begins early with packet pickup starting an hour prior to the first event’s start time near the southwest corner of the main field by the stone wall. Team coaches or designated team members are responsible for picking up packets on behalf of their teams.
Competitors can choose from several age-specific categories, each offering unique distances:
- 8 & Under (Born in 2018+): A fun and challenging 2 Km course starting at 9:00 AM.
- 9 & 10 Years Old (Born in 2016-2017): Participants will tackle a 3 Km race beginning at 9:30 AM.
- 11 & 12 Years Old (Born in 2014-2015): This group faces the same distance but starts later, with registration opening at 10:00 AM.
- 13 & 14 Years Old (Born in 2012-2013): The oldest youth category will run a slightly longer 4 Km race commencing at 10:30 AM.

The Kokopelli Invite is professionally timed by Hal Sports, ensuring accurate and immediate results posted following each event’s completion. Youth awards will be given out to 1st through 10th place in both boys’ and girls’ divisions within every age group.
