The 2026 Kokopelli Invite offers runners of all ages the chance to tackle a fast and challenging cross-country course on Saturday, October 17, starting at 9:00 AM. This invitational race is designed for athletes looking to push their limits in scenic North Monument Valley Park. Registration opens soon through Race Roster, with a deadline set for Thursday, October 15, by 10:00 PM. Entry fees are $25 per youth participant and do not include service charges; refunds will not be issued. The race takes place at North Monument Valley Park, located at 205 Fontanero St., Colorado Springs, CO 80907. Packet pickup begins one hour before the start of each event near the southwest corner of the main field, by the stone wall. Team coaches or designated team members will collect packets for their teams; individual runners must pick up their own race numbers. Race times vary according to age group: - 8 & Under (born in 2018+): 2 Km at 9:00 AM - 9 & 10-Year Olds (born in 2016-2017): 3 Km at 9:30 AM - 11 & 12-Year Olds (born in 2014-2015): 3 Km at 10:00 AM - 13 & 14-Year Olds (born in 2012-2013): 4 Km at 10:30 AM Participants will receive detailed course maps closer to the event date. Awards are given for first through tenth place in each youth age group, with separate categories for boys and girls. Hal Sports will provide professional timing services, ensuring results are available immediately after completion of races.
