Korea National Marathon Association World Run Marathon Festival

The 2026 Geumsan World Run Marathon Festival takes place on Sunday, 31 May 2026 at 8:00 AM (home room opens at 7:00 AM) at the Geumsan World Ginseng Expo Parking Lot in Geumsan, South Korea. This event commemorates the 25th anniversary of the National Marathon Association and offers four distances: half marathon, 10 km, 5 km, and 1 km. The festival features a special performance by Taeyeon (T‑Angel) and is broadcast on YouTube. The event is organized by the National Marathon Association (World Run) and Jeonsamo, with participation registration through Chamgireum‑rok.

Awards and prize money (half marathon & 10 km):

• Overall male & female (1st–5th place)
• 1st: 400,000 KRW + certificate + trophy
  2nd: 300,000 KRW + certificate + trophy
  3rd: 200,000 KRW + certificate + trophy
  4th: 150,000 KRW + certificate + trophy
  5th: 100,000 KRW + certificate + trophy
• Young adult men (under 45) – 1st to 50th place: trophy
• Senior men (45 and older) – 1st to 50th place: trophy
• Young adult women (under 45) – 1st to 20th place: trophy
• Senior women (45 and older) – 1st to 20th place: trophy

Certificates of completion are provided only as mobile/web certificates for events using timing chips. If souvenirs are out of stock, they may be changed to alternative sizes or products depending on the organizer's circumstances.

Eligibility and application: account details for participation fee payment are Hana Bank 657‑910002‑92907 (Daehak). As there may be people with the same name, please include your 6‑digit date of birth in the name field when making the deposit.
