LA DEUX CENT, organized by LE COMPTOIR DU CYCLISTE in Cusset, is set to be an exhilarating weekend of cycling and running events designed for all levels. This year marks the debut of gravel riding alongside traditional road biking on Saturday and Sunday, offering participants a chance to explore the scenic landscapes around Vichy. On Friday evening at 6:30 PM, runners can take part in a special "Rando Run" event organized by Running-conseil Vichy. This nocturnal run features two distances—11 kilometers and 19 kilometers—with segments timed on Strava for those who wish to track their performance. Both routes are illuminated with the ambiance enhanced by DJ Basso, creating an unforgettable evening experience. The main events kick off Saturday morning when cyclists can choose between gravel rides of either 65 or 115 kilometers through varied terrain. Each route offers a single checkpoint and includes opportunities for participants to test out high-end bicycles from brands such as Pinarello, Factor, Girs, Basso, Campagnolo, and Fulcrum. Additionally, there will be bike washing stations available along with showers after the ride. Sunday brings back the traditional road cycling routes with four options ranging from 75 kilometers up to a challenging 200 kilometers. These scenic tours feature multiple checkpoints where participants can restock on supplies provided by partners such as BIOCOOP Labelle Rive and AUVERGNAT COLA, ensuring everyone stays fueled throughout their ride. Throughout the weekend, visitors will have access to an exclusive cycling expo featuring top brands like Pinarello, Girs, Factor, Basso, Castelli, Precision Hydration & Fuel, Continental, Limar, Fizik, Zefal, Assos, 4II Capteur de puissance, Thule, Campagnolo, Fulcrum, and Salomon. Attendees can explore the latest innovations in cycling gear and technology while also enjoying special offers from these brands. The event is not about competition but rather celebrating the joy of riding and running together. With live music, food trucks serving up delicious meals, and a vibrant atmosphere throughout Cusset’s Espace Chambon venue, LA DEUX CENT promises an unforgettable weekend for all participants and spectators alike.
