La Bisou 2026 – Peronnas (Ain) Sunday, September 27, 2026 - 24th Edition Renowned for its stunning landscapes and challenging routes, La Bisou has earned a place among the world's top cycling events. This year’s event promises an unforgettable day of pedaling through picturesque French countryside, with three distinct courses catering to cyclists of all levels. The BISOU CHALLENGE (148 km) is designed for seasoned riders seeking a rigorous test on scenic roads. The BISOU AVENTURE (94 km) offers a balanced mix of terrain and elevation, while the BISOU DÉCOUVERTE (53 km), ideal for beginners or those using an approved e-bike, provides a delightful introduction to cycling in Peronnas. Registration includes a welcome gift based on order of sign-up, a hearty meal with water included, chip timing, secure bike parking, and comprehensive support along the route. Cyclists will enjoy well-marked paths secured by 25 motorcycles, 85 traffic controllers, and over 300 volunteers ensuring safety throughout. Participants can look forward to refreshment stations at strategic points on all three courses, as well as post-race showers. The event also features an array of awards, including distinctive jerseys for the top finishers in each category and a special prize for the first female competitor overall. Additionally, commemorative plaques will be awarded to the best cyclists representing the Bourg en Bresse Agglomeration. Early registrants receive exclusive maillots; those beyond 500 spots get welcome gifts instead.
