Buckland Gravel Spectacle, an unparalleled cycling adventure, unfolds amidst the stunning Quebec Appalachians. The course is both demanding and visually captivating, with significant elevation gains that will challenge even seasoned cyclists. For those seeking a grand test of endurance, "The Great Buck" stretches over 146 kilometers with more than 3000 meters of climbing. Alternatively, for a shorter but equally exhilarating ride, the "Little Buck" covers approximately 200 kilometers and includes around 2000 meters of elevation.
At the intersection at kilometer 75, you can switch your course between these two routes to tailor the experience according to your preference or pacing. If you're looking for a more manageable challenge, in 2025, a new 50-kilometer route will be introduced. This shorter distance offers an accessible entry point while still allowing participants to immerse themselves in the region's charm through picturesque gravel paths.
Your journey will take you through some of nature’s most breathtaking landscapes: navigate the majestic forest at Parc du Massif du Sud, where towering trees and fresh air await; explore panoramic vistas from wind farm areas that offer sweeping views across the landscape; or follow tranquil country lanes that weave between charming fields.
