La Course au large

Join the SNA Fouesnant Association for their 22nd Course au Large on February 7, 2027. This scenic race covers approximately 13 kilometers through the protected coastal pathways of Natura 2000 near Beg Meil and Mousterlin in Fouesnant, a premier seaside destination in Finistère. The flat course offers stunning views along the coast and across the polders, making it accessible to runners of all abilities.
At mid-race, participants will find water stations for hydration, though they are encouraged to bring their own reusable cups to help preserve this ecological site. A portion of each registration fee goes directly to supporting the SNSM (Société Nationale de Sauvetage en Mer).
Following the race, enjoy a solid and liquid refreshment table at the finish line along with awards for the top three male and female runners overall as well as age category winners. There will also be raffle prizes distributed on-site after the podium presentations.
For younger athletes, complimentary children's races are available starting from 10:05 AM to 10:30 AM in various distance categories based on birth year for kids aged 6 to 12 years old. Each child receives a medal upon completion of their race.
Registrations for adult runners open online via Klikego starting October 12, with a minimum age requirement of 16 years and proof of the PPS health certificate within three months prior to the event date.
