About the Event

Set against the picturesque backdrop of Brittany, the Treguier Race offers runners an immersive journey through rolling hills and charming countryside. The race begins at the bustling port of Treguier, where participants will start their run on the Pont Canada before heading into the serene landscapes surrounding Trédarzec.
The route then leads to Pouloudran, a village that comes alive with the vibrant sounds of Breton music and enthusiastic cheers from locals lining the streets. As runners proceed along the tranquil ruisseau du Bizien, they will be treated to lush greenery and pastoral views before venturing into dense forests where paths wind through the heart of Boloï Woods.
Depending on weather conditions, this section may introduce some mud-filled trails that challenge endurance and agility alike. The race concludes with a climb up the steep côte de la Palmeraie, adding an extra layer of difficulty to those final kilometers before reaching Ploëzal's Château de la Roche Jagu for a majestic finish line.
Participants can choose from three distances: 9km starting at 9:45 AM in Pouloudran, the more extensive 13km that kicks off at 10:15 AM from Treguier, and the full marathon experience of 26km beginning early at 9:15 AM also from Treguier. All race bibs are available for collection on-site before each respective start time.
This event promises a blend of natural beauty, cultural immersion, and athletic challenge that will leave runners with memories to cherish long after the race concludes.
The diverse terrain ensures an engaging run, while the support along the way from both locals and fellow participants makes this more than just another race—it's an unforgettable adventure in Brittany.
