La COURSE des PETITS AVENTURIERS

On September 19, Dennlys Parc transforms into an exciting playground for young runners as it hosts its annual children's race day. The park opens early to welcome participants with no traffic and a fully enclosed course that winds through the heart of Dennlys Parc. Runners will circle around the picturesque lake, pass by landmarks such as Furio and Icarius, and finish under the archway at the Taverne.
This year’s event features three distinct races tailored for different age groups: The Explorers (5-7 years) compete in an 800-meter dash starting at 9:30 AM; The Voyageurs (8-9 years) take on a 1.5-kilometer route beginning at 9:15 AM, and the Globe-Trotters (10-12 years) tackle a challenging 2.5-kilometer course that kicks off early in the morning at 8:45 AM.
Each race is meticulously timed by ChronOpale, ensuring every child receives an official time and ranking upon crossing the finish line. All participants will receive a medal for completing their respective courses along with eco-friendly cups filled with refreshing syrup water and a bag of candy treats as well-deserved rewards.
To celebrate the achievements of top performers in each race category, there is also a podium ceremony where first through third place winners are awarded medals (gold, silver, or bronze) plus plush toy Denno figurines. Following the races, runners gain free access to all park attractions for the entire day, with an early entry window starting 30 minutes before general admission.
The event registration fee is just €2 and covers participation in any of the three race categories as well as entrance to Dennlys Parc’s many rides and activities afterwards. Online sign-ups are available until September 16th, while packet pick-up will be held on-site from 8:00 AM onwards.
The day promises a mix of fun-filled competition and joyful celebration for children eager to explore the park's attractions after their races.
