About the Event

On Sunday, November 22, 2026, "Les Rives du Tarn Running" and "Happy Cross Dogs" are set to host the fourth edition of La Course des Rives. This dynamic race day features six unique events that cater to a variety of runners and their canine companions.
The centerpiece event is a stunning nature course stretching approximately 15 kilometers through the picturesque landscapes along the banks of the Tarn River. Participants will enjoy a mix of rolling hills, scenic trails, and serene river views as they traverse this challenging yet rewarding route. For those seeking a shorter but equally engaging experience, an 8-kilometer trail run offers breathtaking scenery in less time.
In addition to running events, La Course des Rives also includes activities designed for cross-country enthusiasts and their dogs. A Canirandonnée of about 10 kilometers invites runners to explore the natural beauty of the region alongside their furry friends, while a 10-kilometer march nordique provides an opportunity for participants to engage in Nordic walking through scenic countryside paths.
For those who prefer a more relaxed pace, there's also a leisurely 10-kilometer hike. This event allows both humans and dogs to enjoy the tranquility of nature at their own speed while taking in stunning views along the river.
The Canicross race, another highlight of the day, covers an approximate distance of 8 kilometers. It offers dog owners and running enthusiasts a chance to compete together on specially designed trails that showcase the natural beauty around the Tarn River.
Registration for both the CaniCross and Canirandonnée events can be completed online at https://courses.ffslc.fr/map until November 15, 2026. Participants are encouraged to sign up early to secure their spots in these popular races.
