LA CURSA DE LA COIA 2026

Welcome to the third edition of "La Cursa de la Coia," an eccentric race that kicks off the Festa Major of Misericòrdia in Reus with unparalleled fun and excitement. This isn't just any run; it's a celebration where participants are encouraged to dress up, adding a vibrant twist to the event.
The Ajuntament de Reus, along with Reus Cultura, Reus Esport, Lleure, and numerous other city entities, make this unique race possible through their support. The Cursa de la Coia promises an unforgettable experience filled with surprises around every corner of its whimsical route.
Schedule:
- Saturday, September 12: Bib collection at the Xiquets de Reus from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
- Sunday, September 13:
- Bib collection from 8:00 AM to 9:15 AM
- Race start at 9:30 AM (location on Carrer del Rosich)
- Award ceremony at 12:30 PM
- Brunch and raffle draw at 1:00 PM
Awards will be given out for the top three overall male and female finishers, first place in each age category as per regulations, fastest Xiquets de Reus runners (male and female), most participants from a single entity, best Festa Major costume individual and group, quickest Strava segment times (male and female), and fastest municipal workers and company representatives.
Participants can also enjoy changing facilities, baggage storage, refreshments at the finish line, and kilometer markers along the route. This event is not just about running; it's a lively showcase of creativity, community spirit, and joyous competition that embodies the festive essence of Reus during its grand celebration.
