La Flori'Noz

Join us for the fourth edition of Flori’NOZ on Saturday, October 17, 2026, in Saint-Alban, Côtes d'Armor. This unique event combines running and orienteering with a festive atmosphere that caters to all ages and skill levels.
The day starts at 18:00 when participants can pick up their race packets from the registration tent in Saint-Alban. The evening is filled with various events designed for different age groups, each offering its own unique challenges and experiences.
Flori'DEGUSTATION: This scenic walk through nature spans approximately seven kilometers and includes an orienteering map to guide you along the way. Along this route, local producers will offer samples of their specialties, allowing participants to enjoy a taste of the region's culinary delights while exploring the countryside under starlight. The event is suitable for adults and children aged 16 and up in teams or individually. To ensure visibility during nightfall, each team must bring at least one light source. With space limited to just 300 people, early registration is advised.
Flori'PIOU PIOU: For the youngest adventurers aged three to twelve years old, this event offers a playful introduction to nocturnal orienteering within Saint-Alban’s charming streets and squares. Teams of two to six children will follow an orientation map to locate hidden checkpoints scattered throughout town in a 3-kilometer course themed around Halloween. Participants are encouraged to dress up for the occasion! Parents or guardians aged twelve and older can join at no additional cost, but each child must bring their own light source and wear a high-visibility vest.
Flori'VERTE: This easygoing event is perfect for beginners eager to try night orienteering. The 5-kilometer course involves straightforward navigation without getting lost, making it ideal for children supervised by adults or those under twelve years old as well as any adult novice. Participants can choose between individual and team formats, with departures starting at 20:00 after a mandatory briefing at 19:45.
Flori'BLEUE: For more experienced orienteers aged twelve and up, this intermediate-level course stretches over eight kilometers in length. The route guides participants through less frequented areas where they can observe the nocturnal wildlife of Saint-Alban. As with previous events, individuals or teams are welcome to take part from 20:00 onwards following a required briefing at 19:45.
Flori'ROUGE: This challenging course is designed for those who have some experience in orienteering and covers about ten kilometers of terrain. Ideal for adventurers aged sixteen and above, the event offers an exciting exploration of the region's natural beauty under moonlight. Participants must bring their own light source, high-visibility vest, and compass to navigate effectively.
Flori'NOIRE: For seasoned competitors seeking a more demanding experience, this fourteen-kilometer course provides a deep dive into nocturnal orienteering skills while showcasing the unique landscapes of Côtes d’Armor. Open to participants aged sixteen or older, it promises an engaging mix of navigation and adventure from 19:30 onwards following a briefing at 19:15.
After the races conclude, gather under the big top for a festive celebration complete with refreshments provided by local artisans like DIMEZELL Brewery. Enjoy live music, games, and socializing while indulging in regional delicacies available from participating producers who will be on-site to share their products during this memorable evening event.
