La Foulée des Sacres

Starting at the foot of Reims Cathedral. Running through the heart of Champagne's capital. La Foulée des Sacres returns on Sunday, June 14, 2026, with two distances: 5 km at 9:30 AM and 10 km at 11:00 AM. A race that combines history — the cathedral where French kings were crowned — with the vibrant city streets of Reims. Open to all levels, from first‑timers to competitive club runners.

The Course:

• Start and finish in the heart of Reims, near the Cathedral Notre‑Dame (a UNESCO World Heritage site)
• Flat, fast, urban route — ideal for personal bests
• Passes by the Palais du Tau, the Champagne cellars district, and the historic city center
• Fully closed roads with enthusiastic crowd support

Results & History:

• Complete results archive available from 2012 to 2025
• Annual event that has become the June running rendezvous for the Reims region
• Results for 2025, 2024, and earlier editions available online (separate 4 km and 8 km distances in past years)

Logistics:

• Bib pickup: Saturday, June 13 (location TBD) and race morning from 8:00 AM at the start village near the cathedral
• Bag drop available at start/finish area
• Aid stations with water on course (5 km and 10 km)
• Refreshments at finish line
• Parking available in nearby public lots and underground garages (limited — public transport recommended)
• Showers and changing rooms available at nearby sports facilities (details on race website)
