About the Event

On December 12, 2026, the town of Gaillac will host the eleventh edition of its popular duo running race. The event kicks off at 5:30 PM from Place de la Libération and winds through the charming streets and scenic paths of this historic French village. Participants must equip themselves with a headlamp and reusable water bottle to navigate the course, which highlights Gaillac's picturesque winter ambiance under twilight skies.
The duo format encourages teamwork as pairs tackle the route together, sharing responsibilities and pacing strategies over the challenging terrain. The race promises an intimate atmosphere with local residents cheering runners on from various points along the way. As dusk falls, the headlamps create a mesmerizing spectacle of light cutting through the cool night air, adding to the unique charm of this annual event.
The finish line returns to Place de la Libération, where participants can celebrate their accomplishment and enjoy the festive mood that envelops Gaillac on race day.
