Step into the serene landscapes of Magny-le-Hongre and Montry for an invigorating Nordic walking experience. The inaugural Nordique Hongrémanienne is a scenic loop course spanning 12 kilometers through natural beauty spots in both communes.
This event welcomes walkers aged 12 years and above, whether you're a seasoned athlete or just starting out with no license required. Registration opens exclusively online at www.le-sportif.com until October 5, 2026, while stocks last—no on-site sign-ups will be available for this inaugural edition.
The registration fee is €15 per participant; of which €2 supports the "Octobre Rose" cause. Parents must provide a waiver to register minors under their guardianship. Dossards can be picked up from Running Conseil in Chessy (30 rue des Quilles) on October 9, between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM, or at the gymnase Emilie Andeol near Magny-le-Hongre's start line on race day from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM.
The walking journey begins promptly at 9:30 AM following a brief warm-up session lasting between 10 and 15 minutes. Participants must bring their own Nordic walking poles, as they are mandatory for the event's safety standards.
Guiding you through this picturesque route will be well-placed signalers along each kilometer marker. A mid-way refreshment station is also set up to provide hydration; please remember your reusable cups or bottles.
The non-timed and unranked nature of this walk allows everyone to enjoy at their own pace, with a maximum duration limit of 3 hours. Embrace the tranquility as you traverse through these charming French landscapes on October 10th.
