Embark on an unforgettable cycling adventure with the third edition of LA ROYALE, where cyclists and nature enthusiasts come together to explore the stunning landscapes of Sologne. This year’s event offers a range of courses designed for all levels, from casual riders to seasoned competitors.
The weekend kicks off on September 26, 2026, featuring fifteen diverse routes that cater to various interests and skill sets. For mountain bikers, there are six thrilling VTT tracks ranging in length from the family-friendly "Le Lièvre" at 20 kilometers to the challenging "Le Cerf Royal," which spans an impressive 120 kilometers through rugged terrain with significant elevation gains.
Gravel riders can choose among four scenic routes like the picturesque "Le Canard" and the longer, more demanding "Le Cormoran." Meanwhile, road cyclists will find ample opportunity for exploration on the four cyclo route options, each offering a unique blend of nature and challenging climbs. Additionally, there are two delightful walking trails that provide an enjoyable experience for those preferring to explore Sologne's beauty on foot.
The following day, September 27, brings another set of fifteen distinct courses designed to cater even more specifically to individual preferences and abilities. The routes vary slightly from Saturday’s offerings but maintain the same commitment to scenic splendor and challenging terrain.
Participants will enjoy a variety of amenities including an area for bike washing and a vibrant village departure site complete with local vendors and producers offering regional delicacies at each checkpoint along the way. This ensures riders can refuel on authentic flavors while taking in the serene beauty of their surroundings.
