La Thomeryonne

On September 27, 2026, Thomery will host the eighth edition of La Thomeryonne, an annual road race organized by the local sports association. This unique course stretches over 10.7 kilometers and is renowned for its challenging terrain that blends urban streets with forest paths in the heart of Seine-et-Marne.
Participants can expect a scenic journey through picturesque villages and along trails within Fontainebleau Forest, featuring varied surfaces including soft earth and paved roads. The race route offers runners an engaging mix of elevation changes and technical challenges as they navigate both cityscapes and natural landscapes.
The event is limited to 300 participants, open to licensed athletes as well as newcomers who must provide a medical certificate if required by the organizing committee. Non-licensed competitors are also welcome with proof of recent health clearance or youth-specific medical forms for minors under 18 years old born in 2011 and earlier.
Entry fees are set at €12, with €2 from each registration donated to local food banks supporting Seine-et-Marne residents in need. La Thomeryonne is also part of the CDR77/ Crédit Mutuel running calendar for the season 2026-2027 and counts towards individual rankings as well as team competitions.
Online pre-registration opens on July 1, 2026, through Sportif.com until September 25 at midnight. On race day, participants must collect their bibs between 9:15 AM and 10:15 AM at the roller hockey rink in Bezou Stadium with a valid ID.
The competition begins promptly at 10:30 AM following brief team gatherings starting from 10:20 AM. Awards presentations for top male, female, junior, senior, master categories, and teams will commence around noon after all results are finalized.
