Mark your calendars for the seventh edition of Les Foulées de Trie-Château on Sunday, September 27, 2026. This family-friendly and welcoming race offers something for everyone—from seasoned runners to casual walkers and young athletes. The event kicks off at 9:15 AM with a scenic 20-kilometer run that winds through the picturesque countryside around Trie-Château. The route features about 75% of paved roads and 25% of charming trails, providing participants with an engaging mix of terrain while showcasing some of the region's most beautiful landscapes. Attractive shorter distances are also available: a 10-kilometer race starting at 10 AM for those who prefer a more compact route, and a fun-filled 5-kilometer run beginning at 9:30 AM designed especially for young participants. All races conclude in the heart of Parc Maurice Froment, an idyllic five-hectare park located behind Trie-Château's town hall. For younger competitors, there are special events tailored to different age groups: - A free race for benjamins (born in 2014 and 2015) starting at 9:20 AM. - Another complimentary event for poussins (born in 2016 and 2017), kicking off at 9:40 AM. - An introductory athletic experience for the youngest participants, aged between 2018 and 2020, which begins at 10:45 AM. In addition to these races, a leisurely walk of approximately 9.2 kilometers is open to all who wish to enjoy the surroundings at their own pace. Participants can look forward to receiving a commemorative gift upon finishing each race and the chance to win trophies for first through third places in various categories. Refreshment stations will be set up along the routes as well as near the finish line. Safety measures are paramount, with support from Civil Security personnel providing medical assistance throughout the event. Every course is monitored by signalers positioned at intersections, a vehicle opener leading the way, and a sweep car bringing up the rear to ensure everyone's safety and enjoyment. Registration for all events can be completed online via Adeorun or in person starting at 7:30 AM on race day outside of Trie-Château’s community hall.
