Lady of the Lake

The Lady at the Lake 8 hour and 4 hour race returns to Vogel State Park in Blairsville, Georgia on November 14th, offering runners a scenic loop around Lake Trahlyta for up to eight hours of endurance running. This year marks the eighth iteration of this unique event, set against the backdrop of Coosa and Blood mountains.
On race morning at dawn, participants will gather along the shores of Lake Trahlyta within Vogel State Park, where the trail winds gently around a mile-long loop through soft pea gravel and single-track sections. The route is known for its firm surface conditions that provide traction and ease on runners' feet as they make their way back to the start/finish line after each lap.
The Lady at the Lake race has become an integral part of Blairsville’s autumn calendar, attracting hundreds of endurance enthusiasts year after year. Proceeds from this event directly benefit Vogel State Park, supporting its maintenance and development. For those interested in joining Revolution Running's team for 2027, spots are raffled off to participants who register and run either the four-hour or eight-hour division.
The race course at Lady at the Lake is a continuous loop that offers runners an opportunity to experience varying terrain conditions within Vogel State Park. The trail features sections of hard pack pea gravel interspersed with single-track paths, providing both challenge and scenic beauty as participants circle around Lake Trahlyta multiple times during their chosen duration.
