Lake Wehrspann Run

The Lake Wehrspann Run is scheduled for August 2nd in Chalco, Nebraska, United States. This event offers a picturesque journey around the lake with its paved trails that will challenge runners' endurance and agility.
Race morning finds participants gathering at Lake Wehrspann Park, where the air is cool and fresh by early July mornings. For those looking for something less daunting, there's the 2-mile run which follows an out-and-back path across the dam. Both these distances come with T-shirts included in their registration fee until July 21st; however, note that Kids' 1K participants do not receive a shirt.
The race kicks off at 7:30 am for the 10K and 2-mile runs, followed by the Kid's 1K starting around 8:50 am after the last 10K runner crosses the finish line. The trail surface is hard and dry, providing consistent footing underfoot despite typical August weather conditions.

Race packets can be picked up at the Chalco City Hall on August 1st from 4 pm to 7 pm. Remember to bring a government-issued ID and race number for bib pickup.
