All participants must follow event rules and safety information. Race numbers must be collected on race day at least 45 minutes before the start time. Numbers must be attached horizontally for the timing chip to be read. Runners must start at their allocated time to appear in results. No over‑ear or in‑ear headphones are permitted (bone‑conducting headphones are allowed). Spitting and snot rockets are prohibited. Runners must be considerate to other trail and road users.
The event features a carnival atmosphere with live music, race commentary, food and drink at the start and finish. The village is family‑friendly. Course maps and profiles are available online. Results and prizes are published post‑race. Event T‑shirts and exclusive merchandise are available. Over 50 marshals and stewards volunteer each year; volunteer opportunities are open.
