The ASVÖ RAIFFEISEN Landl-Lauf, set to take place on September 12, 2026, is an inclusive running event designed for participants of all ages and skill levels. Organized by the ÖTB Neumarkter Turnverein 1904, this annual race continues a tradition that began in 2024 with overwhelming success. The day's events kick off at 13:30 PM with the "ASVÖ" Bambini-Lauf for children aged 5 to 7 years. This short but spirited run features separate starts and awards for boys and girls, ensuring every young runner feels celebrated. Following closely is the "RAIFFEISEN" Kids-Lauf at 14:00 PM, a slightly longer race of about 500 meters open to kids aged 8 to 11. Like its predecessor, this event also distinguishes between male and female participants for both starts and awards. At 14:20 PM, the "SPARKASSE" Youngsters-Lauf takes center stage with a one-kilometer run designed specifically for young athletes from ages 12 to 15. This race showcases the growing prowess of teenage runners as they compete in their respective age groups and genders. The highlight event is the “IHR WEG ZUM RECHT” Volkslauf, which begins at 15:00 PM with a scenic five-kilometer course open to all adults and juniors. This race offers numerous categories based on gender and decade of birth from 2007 through 1956 and beyond. In the afternoon, teams can compete in the "Epoxid Master Design" Teamlauf at 15:40 PM with a relay format over four laps covering one kilometer each. Teams are composed of any combination of male or female runners, fostering camaraderie among participants. Post-race celebrations include award ceremonies for individual and team winners as well as special recognitions such as the "QUARTER OUNCE GOLD" awards given to top finishers in under 17 minutes (female) and 15 minutes (male). Additionally, a unique title of “4720er LANDL-LAUF CHAMPION” is awarded based on performance within the local postal code area. Participants can collect their race numbers at the MS Neumarkt School Gymnasium, located opposite Spar Markt. The number collection includes an event bag filled with useful items for runners and ensures all participants wear a timing chip integrated into the start number to ensure accurate results.
