About the Event

Ride along the stunning Cornwall coast with three challenging routes that cater to all levels of cyclists. The race starts promptly at 08:30 AM and concludes no later than 5:00 PM, requiring participants to maintain a steady pace of at least 13 mph throughout the course.
This year’s event takes place along the picturesque Cornwall coast road, offering breathtaking views as you pedal through rolling hills and rugged cliffs. Each route is meticulously designed with feed stations strategically placed for convenience—St Just Sports Centre (22 miles), Portreath Millennium Hall (50 miles), and Mawgan Recreation Hall (72 miles). Cyclists are allowed a maximum of 10 minutes at each station to refuel before continuing their journey.
Participants will be chip-timed, ensuring accurate results. Based on your finish time and age/gender categories, you’ll earn either a Gold, Silver, or Bronze medal as recognition for your effort. This event has been a beloved fixture in Cornwall since 2010 but now operates under new management with Just Events at the helm.
Folly Fields provides an ideal setting to kick off this exhilarating race, offering cyclists not only scenic beauty but also well-organized support along the way. Whether you're a seasoned pro or a casual enthusiast, the Cornish Coast Road Challenge promises an unforgettable day out on two wheels.
