Last Dot Standing and 24/48 Hour by Ten Junk Miles
About the Event
Last Dot Standing: A Unique Running Challenge On September 17, 2027, runners from all over will gather at Belleville Community Park to participate in the Last Dot Standing race. This unique event is designed for those who enjoy a challenge and are not afraid of pushing their limits. The main attraction is the "Last Person Standing" format where participants start by running 4.2 miles from Belleville Community Park to Dots Tavern, a charming establishment nestled off the trail that has been welcoming runners since its founding 70 years ago. After reaching Dot's, racers have just one hour to return to the starting point in Belleville before repeating the process for as long as they can manage. For those not ready to take on this grueling challenge but still wish to participate, there are two separate 24-hour races and a 48-hour race. These events offer runners ample opportunities to cover the same course multiple times between September 17th and 19th without the strict hour-by-hour constraints. The event also features an 8-Hour Saturday Day run starting at 6 am on September 19, as well as an evening option beginning at 10 pm that night. Both of these shorter events allow participants to experience a taste of the full race while enjoying less demanding schedules. Prizes for the Last Person Standing event include substantial cash awards based on registration fees and additional bonuses for female competitors. Runners who complete specific mileage goals during their chosen races will receive impressive finisher's buckles, adding an extra layer of motivation and recognition to this challenging competition. Volunteers are always welcome at Belleville Community Park or along the route between Belleville and Dot’s Tavern throughout the event duration. Joining as a volunteer offers a chance to connect with fellow runners and support them through their efforts over these demanding days. Registration for all events closes on September 1, ensuring early sign-ups receive full race swag and finisher's awards. Don't miss out on this rare opportunity to test your endurance in the scenic Wisconsin countryside! For military personnel, veterans, and first responders looking to participate, discounts are available upon request by emailing tjmracing@gmail.com for a special code. Join us at Belleville Community Park on September 17, 2027, for an unforgettable running experience unlike any other.
