From September 2 to September 6, 2026, the Grand Tour of Haute-Saône invites 200 cyclists to explore the lesser-known landscapes of eastern France. This three-day cycling extravaganza features five stages that zigzag through picturesque hamlets and villages nestled in the foothills of the Vosges Mountains. The event promises a mix of competition and camaraderie, with daily apéro sessions at the lakeside camping site after each day’s ride. Cyclists will tackle 300 kilometers of challenging terrain, including one team time trial and three road races, culminating in an iconic finish atop the Planche des Belles Filles. The Grand Tour offers something for all levels of cyclists, with two men's pelotons divided by skill level and a dedicated women’s group. The route features 4500 meters of elevation gain over the course of three days, winding through scenic countryside that is rarely seen outside local circles. Beyond the racing action, participants can look forward to an immersive experience in a relaxed atmosphere where conversation flows as freely as the wine at apéro time. Whether you're leading from the front or enjoying the ride with friends towards the back, there's plenty of opportunity for personal achievement and memorable moments. With five distinctive jerseys up for grabs throughout each stage and two regional champion titles to be won, cyclists can look forward to a rewarding journey that balances competition with discovery. The event promises an unforgettable adventure in one of France’s most picturesque regions. For more detailed information on the route and regulations, interested riders are encouraged to review the official guidebook available online.
