On Saturday, September 19th, lace up your shoes and join us for Le Tour de Bayou's 15th edition! This year’s ride kicks off and concludes at the picturesque Kent Plantation House located on 3601 Bayou Rapides Road in Alexandria, Louisiana. Whether you're a seasoned cyclist or just starting out, there are routes to suit every pace—101 miles for the long-distance enthusiasts, 69 miles for the ambitious, 40 and 25 miles for those aiming for a substantial challenge, as well as a family-friendly 10-mile route. For families with young adventurers, we’ve got you covered with our 2-mile Fun Run/Walk/Ride event, perfect for exploring the beauty of Kent Plantation House together. Registration fees are $20 per family (up to four members), and each additional family member pays an extra $5—T-shirts aren't included in this registration but can be purchased separately. Mark your calendars now; online sign-ups close at midnight on September 18th, so don’t miss out! Packet pick-up will take place the day before from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., allowing you ample time to prepare for an unforgettable experience. This event is generously sponsored by GAEDA and serves as their premier fundraiser, supporting Kent Plantation House in its preservation. Prepare yourself for a journey through stunning Louisiana landscapes, where history meets modern adventure.
