Experience the picturesque landscapes of Franklin County as you tackle Le Tour de Brandts Time Trial, presented by Franklin County Cyclists. This open-to-public event requires no USA Cycling license, making it accessible to all avid cyclists and time trial enthusiasts. The 10-mile course winds through scenic western Franklin County, ensuring a memorable ride with marshalled intersections for your safety. Electronic timing will be employed, with riders starting at assigned times beginning from 9 am. Your finishing times will be recorded using passive transponders, adding precision to the race experience. For those looking to push their limits, time trial equipment is permitted, including aero helmets, TT bikes, shoe covers, and skin suits. E-bikes are also welcome; however, your time won’t be included in the scoring or medal awards due to this unique category. Velomobiles will not participate in this event. Participants must be at least 16 years old individually; tandem riders can include one underage rider accompanied by an adult. Franklin County Cyclists members enjoy discounted registration through a coupon code sent via email, ensuring you stay informed about the latest details. Start times are emailed prior to race day once registrations have closed, allowing ample time for preparation and warm-up. Categories will be divided into Men’s, Women’s, E-bikes, and Tandems, with tandem fields not split by age categories. Winners of each category receive recognition through trophies: the best overall times in men's and women's races, as well as top tandems.
