This race begins at 4am on December 19, 2026, setting participants off under starry skies as they navigate a course that combines urban streets with scenic park paths. Participants will run multiple laps around a central park in Cheektowaga before returning to the finish line near 308. The route includes city sidewalks and asphalt roads, offering runners opportunities to pass by several mini-markets for restocking supplies along the way. Two aid stations are strategically placed—one within the park and another at the start/finish area—to provide hydration and nutrition. The race is designed for experienced runners who can manage their own fueling needs after leaving the initial aid station until they reach the second one, approximately 12 miles later. All course markers feature bright neon green cones to guide participants, while a laminated map ensures easy cross-referencing with GPS watches recommended but not mandatory. Due to open traffic conditions on city streets and areas where runners must use sidewalks due to lack of bike lanes, safety precautions are essential. Runners should carry a flashlight or headlamp during nighttime sections and wear reflective gear for visibility. The straightforward course minimizes the risk of getting lost, making it accessible yet challenging for seasoned ultramarathoners.
