Join us for the GazelEnergie - Site Emile Huchet Race on Sunday, September 6, 2026. This year marks another successful installment of an event that has grown in popularity since its inception in 2024.
The race offers a unique opportunity to support a worthy cause while enjoying beautiful natural surroundings. All proceeds from the event will be donated to Une Rose un Espoir, which raises funds for cancer research and patient care.
Participants can choose between two formats: a competitive 10 km run or a leisurely 10 km walk suitable for all ages. The running course features two waves of departure based on previous race times—SAS 1 (less than 50 minutes) and SAS 2 (more than 50 minutes)—to ensure smooth starts and enjoyable pacing.
The route winds through over 85% forested areas, offering a serene trail experience that is both challenging and rewarding. The terrain is gentle with no major obstacles, making it accessible to runners of various skill levels. Both the run and walk segments pass through the heart of Site Emile Huchet, providing scenic views and an immersive nature experience.
For safety reasons, all participants must wear their numbered bibs throughout the event. Bicycles and strollers are prohibited on the course due to its terrain and layout. Younger participants under 18 years old can join for free but must register online and be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the entire walk.
Each registration includes entry into your chosen race, a participation gift (for paid entries), a raffle ticket, and refreshments before and during the event. After completing their run or walk, participants are invited to enjoy a complimentary post-race buffet with friends and family in celebration of this special day.
One highlight is the "Most Fun Team Outfit" award given out at the end of the race, encouraging creativity and team spirit among competitors.
