Les 24 heures du Meygal

From June 19 to 20, 2027, the Chalet du Meygal in Queyrières transforms into a hub of collective adventure for 24 hours. At noon on Saturday, runners will take off on a fully paved circuit measuring 7.7 kilometers around Testavoyre Lake. The night is when this endurance event truly comes alive, as participants face the challenge between effort and mental stamina, battling fatigue to push through another round.
Around the chalet, an area designated for relaxation welcomes volunteers, families, and supporters who cheer on runners at each lap completion. Throughout the day, various sports activities and musical performances keep the energy high. The beauty of the Meygal Massif, with its volcanoes and forests, serves not just as a backdrop but also as an integral part of this sustainable event organized in partnership with ONF (Office National des Forêts) to minimize environmental impact.
Organized by Les Foulées Araulaises, this inaugural edition aims to establish endurance trail running firmly within the Haute-Loire region. The emphasis here is less on individual performance and more on the shared journey runners undertake lap after lap. Join us from June 19 to 20, 2027 in Queyrières for a weekend of unforgettable adventure that marks just the beginning of an ongoing tradition.
