Les 8 Heures du Coiroux by Céleste Running takes place on October 4, 2026, around the scenic Lac du Coiroux in Aubazine (Corrèze). This unique endurance race challenges runners with a loop of 7 kilometers that must be completed every hour. Each hour sees new participants starting their journey as they aim to complete one lap within 60 minutes before returning for the next batch. Over eight laps are planned, covering up to 56 kilometers from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM.
Two formats cater to different preferences:
- Solo – Individuals tackle all 8 loops on their own.
- Relay (2-person teams) – Teams alternate every loop with each runner completing four laps.
The event is open to runners aged at least 20 years, aligning them into the Espoir category. The final ranking combines times from all completed loops.
