About the Event

The "Les Bosses de Provence" cyclosportive, organized by the Vélo Club La Pomme Marseille and supported by the Department of Bouches-du-Rhône, has established itself as an unmissable cycling event at the end of the season. This picturesque race invites cyclists to explore or rediscover the stunning backcountry roads surrounding Marseille.
Set against a backdrop of azure Mediterranean waters, dramatic calanques, and lush pine forests, this cyclosportive offers a memorable weekend filled with camaraderie among fellow enthusiasts. The grand route begins at the foot of Gineste and takes riders through challenging climbs like Espigoulier and an excursion into the Sainte-Baume massif. Cyclists will then face the steep ascent up to the Côte des Bastides before descending back down to Gineste.
The event also features a vibrant village fair on the eve of the race, where participants can mingle with sponsors and cheer on young cyclists competing in dedicated children's events.
