Les Foulées Lindoises : vaincre ensemble la sclérose en plaques
About the Event
The Foulées Lindoises is an inspiring sports charity event dedicated to raising funds for research into multiple sclerosis. The race, which takes place on September 13th at the ALSH L'île aux Enfants in Lalinde Sauveboeuf, offers a variety of activities suitable for all ages and fitness levels. The main events include: - A fun run for children covering one kilometer. - Two nature runs: an 11km course through scenic trails and a more challenging 18km route that showcases the beauty of the region's natural landscapes. - A family-friendly 10km walk, perfect for those who prefer to enjoy the outdoors at their own pace. In addition to these races, there is also a special area designed just for kids under 12 years old. This includes interactive games and activities like magical ball play sessions from 8:30 AM until 11:30 AM. Participants can look forward to an engaging morning filled with laughter and fun. All runners are encouraged to bring their own reusable cup for hydration stations, as organizers aim to minimize waste during the event. The start/finish line area will buzz with energy thanks to a lively atmosphere that includes informative stands about multiple sclerosis, refreshment stalls serving snacks and drinks, and a communal lunch where participants can share stories and experiences. Registration is now open until September 5th for those interested in participating or enjoying the solidarity meal which costs €16 per person. A special children's menu priced at €8 will also be available upon request. For runners who are not licensed athletes, obtaining medical certification from a doctor is no longer necessary thanks to the new Parcours Prévention Santé (PPS) system. Participants can download their PPS attestation after completing an online health and safety awareness session through https://pps.athle.fr and present it at registration or when collecting race numbers on September 13th from 7:30 AM until 9:00 AM at the ALSH L'île aux Enfants venue. All proceeds raised by this event will be donated to France Sclérose en Plaques, a leading organization committed to advancing research and improving care for those affected by multiple sclerosis. Join us in supporting an important cause while enjoying a day of community spirit and outdoor adventure!
