The 32nd edition of the Foulées Meaultoises returns, offering runners and walkers an exciting day filled with competitive spirit and scenic routes. This year’s events include bronze-label certified races for both the 5 km and 10 km distances, serving as qualifying races for France's national championships. The morning kicks off early at 9:10 AM with the start of the 5-kilometer race, followed by the longer 10-kilometer event beginning at 10:15 AM. For younger participants and spectators alike, there are engaging activities designed just for children starting from 9:50 AM. A separate walking challenge is also part of this year’s program with an 8-kilometer walk commencing at 10:35 AM. On-site registration for the marche nordique carries a $2 surcharge compared to pre-registered participants, while all children's activities are free of charge. The races boast ultra-performant courses that cater perfectly to achieving personal bests and setting new records. All competitors must collect their race numbers at the town hall from 7 PM onwards on Saturday until 9 PM or between 7 AM and 10 AM on Sunday morning before the event begins. Awards are plentiful, with cups and trophies given out to the top three overall male and female finishers in both races. Category winners also receive their own awards but cannot simultaneously claim prizes from other categories. A special prize of €80 is reserved for anyone who breaks a course record during either race distance. In addition to these accolades, all children participating will be presented with medals. Throughout the day, there are hydration stations available at various points along both courses and refreshment stands offering hot beverages, waffles, and snacks. A raffle adds an extra element of fun for participants looking to win additional prizes. For those wishing to make their race experience more comfortable, organizers recommend using the Airbus parking lot on Bray Road or carpooling with fellow competitors. Reservations are required for any meal services provided at the venue. The Foulées Meaultoises promises not only a challenging and rewarding racing day but also an enjoyable atmosphere filled with local flavor and community spirit.
