Starting 6:00 AM on September 26 at Linglong Mountain Park - Linglong Villa, Lin'an, Hangzhou, Zhejiang, this trail race caps at 950 runners across "Wings Entwined" 13.14KM (150 spots), "Qian Wang's Tide" 21KM (350 spots), "Poet's Passage" 30KM (280 spots), and "Linglong Wild" 42KM (170 spots). Registration opens April 24 at 18:00, with early-bird pricing through May 29. The 13.14KM (13.1km actual, 830m gain/loss) starts 6:15 with a 7-hour cutoff; the 21KM (21.3km, 1,130m gain/loss, ITRA 1 point) starts 6:00 with a 9-hour cutoff; the 30KM (29.36km, 1,480m gain/loss, ITRA 1 point) starts 6:00 with an 11-hour cutoff; the 42KM (40.5km, 2,050m gain/loss, ITRA 2 points) starts 6:00 with a 12-hour cutoff. At just 353 meters, Lin'an's Linglong Mountain isn't imposing, but it's dense with history -- the rock where Song-dynasty poet Su Dongpo is said to have napped, pines named for the scholars who composed verses beneath them, weathered cliff inscriptions, and the ancient Wolong Temple's centuries of chanting. This debut edition is envisioned as the first stage of a planned hundred-kilometer course crossing all of Lin'an, tracing Qingshan Lake, the homeland of the Wuyue-dynasty Qian rulers, and the misty slopes of Tianmu Mountain.
