Little Duck 50k

The Little Duck 50k takes place on Sunday, October 18, 2026, starting at 7:00 AM at 187 Falmouth Rd in Windham, ME. This 5-loop course on the Purple, Red, and Blue trails at East Windham Conservation Area features roughly 900 feet of elevation gain per loop (4,500 feet total). The race has a 3:00 PM cutoff, and there is no DNF — every completed loop counts as a finished distance.

Registration and Deadlines:

• Registration closes Saturday, October 17 at 11:59 PM ET.
• Register via UltraSignup.
• Race size: 10–50 participants for first year.

Course Details:

• Start/finish at EWCA parking lot on Purple trail.
• Loop order: Purple trail → right on Red Trail → right on Blue Trail.
• Aid station at Lowell Preserve parking lot (mid-loop).
• Second aid station at start/finish area.
• Snacks, water, and electrolyte drinks at both stations.
• Volunteers track runner progress.

No DNF Policy:

• Every completed loop counts as a finished distance.
• Example: 3 loops = official 30k finish.
• Example: 4 loops = official 26.2 mile (marathon) finish.
• Organizers stay until final finisher crosses the line.
• "No runner left behind" policy.

Cutoff and Swag:

• Cutoff: 3:00 PM (8-hour time limit).
• All finishers receive a cotton Hanes t-shirt (no technical shirts).
