Set against the dramatic backdrop of Ticino, Switzerland, the Lodrino-Lavertezzo Skyrace invites runners to experience an unforgettable journey through breathtaking landscapes. The race begins at 262 meters above sea level in the charming village of Lodrino and culminates on the square in Lavertezzo.
Competitors have two options: a challenging 22-kilometer course with a staggering elevation gain of 2,190 meters or an intense Vertical ascent up to Alpe Alva. Both routes offer spectacular views and opportunities for runners to immerse themselves fully in the Alpine scenery.
For those looking to enjoy the beauty without the competition, there's also a non-competitive popular traverse that allows participants to soak in the stunning panoramas from Forcarella at their own pace. Meanwhile, young athletes can take part in the Kids race, designed specifically for them to explore and appreciate the natural wonders around Lodrino and Lavertezzo.
