London Bridge Kids Helping Kids Walk-a-Thon 2026

For the past thirty-five years, London Bridge Early Childhood Learning Centres have organized the "Kids Helping Kids" walkathon to raise funds for ChildCan and Ronald McDonald House Southwestern Ontario. This annual event was initiated following two significant experiences: a family at one of the centres receiving a childhood cancer diagnosis, and educators collaborating with children on ways they could support this family.
The idea quickly grew into an impactful initiative where young participants collect donations from friends and families to combat childhood cancer. Over the years, thousands of dollars have been raised through these efforts, making a tangible difference in the lives of affected families. This year's walkathon will take place on Tuesday, September 29th (with a backup date set for Wednesday, September 30th if necessary).
Registration is simple and can be completed online where participants can start collecting pledges from their networks. Additionally, supporters can make direct donations to the cause by clicking "Donate Now" to access the donation page.
The funds raised support ChildCan's mission of providing personalized programs and services for families dealing with childhood cancer across all stages—from diagnosis through treatment and beyond. Similarly, they aid Ronald McDonald House Southwestern Ontario in offering comforting environments and essential services for families whose children require medical care far from home.
