Experience the Loop de Loop Challenge, hosted by Friends of Arkansas Singletrack (FAST) in Bella Vista. This isn't just any race; it's an immersive journey through Bella Vista’s scenic singletrack trails that test your skills and willpower.
The 50-mile Loop de Loop course weaves through the Back 40 and Tunnel Vision loops, offering a total elevation gain of more than 5,000 feet. The rugged terrain challenges you with relentless climbs and descents, providing an unforgettable experience for every participant. For those seeking even greater adventure, the Megaloop spans 65 miles, adding some extra technical trails to the mix. With over 6,500 feet of climbing, this route will truly put your abilities to the test.
For a more focused ride, consider tackling the Tunnel Vision Loop at 28 miles with its punchy climbs and thrilling switchbacks. Descents here are exhilarating, rewarding you for each hard-earned ascent. Alternatively, the Back 40 Loop offers 22 miles of classic Northwest Arkansas singletrack beauty, featuring over 2,000 feet of climbing to showcase Bella Vista’s natural splendor.
Throughout your journey, several sponsors will provide aid stations and support at key points along the course. These partners are crucial in maintaining local trails; consider supporting them by shopping their services or joining FAST as a member.
Start your day early—arrive no later than 8:00 AM to allow for check-in lines that may be long. Check-in opens at 7:30 AM, with Megaloop departures set for 8:00 AM and the full Loop De Loop classes following shortly after. The Back 40 only classes start a few minutes later.
Support tents will operate from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at specific locations along the course, ensuring you have access to hydration and nutrition as needed. Parking is available along Pinion Drive; avoid parking on top of Lake Ann Dam as it's private property.
