About the Event

On Saturday, October 10, 2026, runners and nature enthusiasts can immerse themselves in the beauty of Pijnven Natural Area, part of National Park Bosland. This third edition offers routes ranging from 6km to 28km through one of the Netherlands' most scenic areas known for its "fietsen door de bomen" (cycling among trees) experience.
Participants will traverse the park during autumn's peak foliage, enjoying a vibrant display of colors and serene surroundings. The event caters to all levels with options suitable for both runners and casual walkers.
For families, there is also an exclusive 3km family walk along the "bosbewonersroute" (forest dwellers route). This unique path features wooden animal sculptures and soundscapes that bring the forest's inhabitants to life. Children can learn about local wildlife in a fun and interactive way.
One of the event’s standout attractions is its elevated viewing platform at the end of each course, accessible via a double circular walkway. Here, participants will ascend up to ten meters above ground level for breathtaking views over the treetops, offering an exhilarating finish to their journey through National Park Bosland.
This event promises not only physical activity but also an educational and inspiring experience in one of the Netherlands' most picturesque natural settings.
